Sustainable Development:
The definition of Sustainable Development is development that improves the long-term health of human and ecological systems. An expert think that, sustainable development means without a time to stop, others think that the sustainable development means a prosperous economy, a quality environment and social equity [2][3][4].
The architectures used 145 environmental protection projects in Beijing Olympic venue constructions. Beijing Shooting Range Hall is a good example. In order to suit the outside decorating and the slogan of “Green Olympic”, the architecture created a way called “a penetrating view into the central parlor”. This system can bring the breeze and sunshine into the interior, using environment friendly material to break out the line of inside and outside.
Nowadays, sustainable development has become more and more popular. China's newer richest man-- Hejun Li's company runs one of the world's largest privately owned hydropower plants in western China's Yunnan Province. More and more people would like to use the renewable energy in the future [9].
Meanwhile, the ideal of “High-Tech Olympics” have forced researchers to assimilate and absorb new ideas. China invited many developed countries’ experts to take part in this program. 70% of the bidders were not domestic corporations. Finally, a Sino-foreign joint won three designed projects, and the domestic corporations won the remaining nine projects.

Materials:
The new material, the high technology, the elegant outstanding made the constructions become a great deal of landmarks. The National Stadium and the National Aquatics Center are the 2 main stadiums of the Beijing Olympic Games.
The National Stadium has another name—Bird’s Nest. The look of the stadium is just like a bird’s nest, to more surprise is that the bowl shaped stand is not made of concrete but steel. And there is no windows to separate the inside and the outside. The seating capacity is 91,000 during the Olympic Games. It is the longest spanning steel structure in the world, a brilliant product of cooperation between Chinese engineers and foreign counterparts. The Opening Ceremony and the Closing Ceremony were held in the Bird’s Nest.
Near the National Stadium, the National Aquatics Center also has another name—Water Cube. This crystal-like building makes a unique visual effect at night. The seating capacity was 17,000 during the Olympics. The main building is made of steel, the shell of Water Cube is made film. The word “cube” means the heaven is round while the earth is square. It present a good connection between ancient and the temporary.
